Sustainability is one of Ricoh New Zealand’s core values and we are continually looking for ways in which to reduce our environmental impact, as well as raising awareness internally.

Earlier this year at our Head Office in Auckland, we worked with Reclaim to conduct a month long audit of disposable coffee cups used by our staff in order to gain a better understanding of the everyday impact made by even the most routine decisions.

Staff were encouraged to dispose of their coffee cups – whether compostable or not –  in specific bins that would then be audited.

In total, over 12.5kg of cups were accumulated as part of the audit, a fantastic contribution from Ricoh employees. To help encourage staff to make more sustainable-conscious decision, Ricoh now offer discounts on reusable cups in order to promote a focus on reuse within the office.
