Purpose

We are looking for an IT & Core Business Project Manager to work in a varied role, with exposure to a variety of projects, facilitation and management of product deployment / implementation at customers sites. The role is focused mainly on the successful delivery of projects, although there are requirements around financial management, transition management and business process management. Key Responsibilities

  • On handover of project, undertake planning and implementation of project
  • Understand and develop the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Develop project plans required to deliver project
  • Manage project budget, raising overages in advance where possible
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders, including customer and 3rd parties
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions and budgets
  • Implement and manage project changes to achieve project outputs
  • Run PIR at completion of projects

Experience:

  • Working as a Project Manager delivering change within external customer sites
  • Previous experience delivering IT projects and/or Core Business Projects (Printers Roll-out)
  • Stakeholder management
  • Proven ability to deliver a number of complex, enterprise projects
  • Understanding and appreciation of technology and systems
  • Building and managing project plans, tasks, deliverables, resource levelling, budgeting, conflict resolution
  • Evidenced based accounting for progress, costs, variations, resources utilisation

Desirable

  • Prince2 or similar certification
  • ITIL foundation certification
